Recycling at Boots
Did you know you could recycle your old makeup at Boots? I didn't!
AND THEY'LL GIVE YOU BOOTS POINTS FOR THEM!
Just simply take along your empty beauty, health, wellness and dental products, from any brand, that can’t be recycled at home.
There is loads of stuff that can't be recycled at home, whether that's because of what they are made from or their size. So, Boots will reward you for recycling with them!
By recycling at least five eliglbe items and spending £10 or more, you'll recieve 500 Advantage card points. This gives you £5.00!
So, what's an eligible item? Things like travel minis, compositve materials (like palettes, lipsticks, and floss dispensers) or unrecyclable materials like toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes! Anything that could usually go in your regular recycling are excluded from the scheme, so nothing like shampoo or conditioner bottles or shower gel etc.
Things you also can't recycle, taken from the Boots FAQs: Aerosol cans, perfume bottles, nail polish bottles, permanent or temporary hair dyes in any type of packaging, brow and eyelash tints, safety razors and razor blades, disposable razors and razor heads, used PPE (disposable masks, gloves and visors), blister packs and foils, any electrical items such as hairdryers and straighteners, any medical devices, electrical or not, food packaging of any type, including crisp packets.
You can also recycle your blister packs from tablets, which I'm currently collecting a lot of! I can't wait to take them to Boots; I'll take you with me when I do :)
