International Womens Day 2025 - The Spark Company
For this year's International Women's Day, I wanted to draw attention to the brilliant company The Spark Company. I'm not being paid to write this blog but there are some ad aff links, which I'll make a little money on if you purchase something via one of their links!
I've got quite a collection of The Spark Company tshirts now, and often wear them at trials or sometimes on wedding mornings. As photographed here on Heather's wedding morning by Ed Godden. I think it's quite ironic as a makeup artist that I don't wear makeup when I'm working, and yet I *am* still radiant and will fight anyone who thinks or dares to say otherwise!
- Everything is ethically made and vegan - no sweatshops, no child labour. They use vegan dyes and are often printed to order, so there's no waste in thousands of products being made and then wasted.
- Biodegradable packaging is standard; they aren't about to start being a dick to the planet. They have a zero waste policy too!
- Every purchase includes a donation to Bloody Good Period; a charity who gets period products to those who can't afford or access them.
- They love and support the trans community. Enough said.
- Most products are a unisex fit so you can size down if you prefer more slim fitted looks, or size up if you’re after baggier and oversized styles.
- They offer UK Size 6-26, with plans to increase their ranges. As a UK26, I wear the 3XL tshirts and they fit great without being too tight. There's ample space in the bust, in the arms (which come down to above my elbow, no cutting into my biceps) and the tshirts are LONG so they cover my butt!
My new favourites and on my wish list are the three below! I'm a sucker for a black tshirt too, so yes, I'd get all three in black.
- Inspired by Gisele Pelicot, the Shame Must Change Sides tshirt is iconic for 2025. All profits from sales of this t-shirt will be donated to DV charities.
- Diet culture has been created to keep women small and keep their minds on how they look rather than how they act, so I love this Riots Not Diets tshirt. We should be incited to riot.
- To couple with my I Am Fucking Radiant shirt, I want the I'm Not Perfect But I'm Pretty Fucking Close t-shirt. The pink of the flower is perfect to match my hair too!
Let me know which of their products is your favourite and if you own any products from The Spark Company already.
