Favourite Nude Eyeshadow Palettes
During my 1-2-1 makeup lessons, I'm often asked about my favourite nude eyeshadow palettes. A staple for versitility, no matter your makeup style, nude eyeshadow palettes will have something for everyone. Matte eyeshadows have have a flat finish, which is great for achieving a natural look. More shimmery or metallica eyeshadows are more radiant and glam. I love a mix of the two, but I'd certainly lean more towards shimmery eyeshadows; probably because I'm a bit of a magpie! Here are some of my favourites nude eyeshadow palettes.
Tarte's Tartelette In Bloom palette is praised for its mix of matte and shimmer shades in versatile neutral tones. I reach for this regularly doing weddings, both for brides and bridesmaids.
Too Faced Born This Way Natural Nudes is known for its magic combo of matte and shimmer shades in soft, natural tones. The dark chocolate Truffle is gorgeous for smoking out eyes. The texture of the shadows is super buttery.
The OG, Urban Decay Naked3 Palette is an absolute classic, known for its mix of soft pinks. I really miss Naked1 and Naked2, and above all else, I'd want Urban Decay to bring them back! It was reported that Naked1 used to be sold every five seconds globally!
Illamasqua's Unveiled Artistry palette has 12 shimmer, satin, and matte eyeshadows that I reach for time and time again for doing bridesmaids makeup. The pink shimmery tones are lush on darker skin tones.
While not exclusively a nude eyeshadow palette, I love the Gilded Glamour palettes from Tarte. They offer a great number of versatile colours, as well as a range of nude tones too. As with the In Bloom palette, the longevity from the clay in the eyeshadow is second to none!
Let me know about your favourite nude eyeshadow palettes!
